ITedge24 Consulting is hiring a Sr/Mid-level Cloud DevOps Engineer to establish DevOps practices in support of our organizational direction.
This role will working in collaboration with development and operations be responsible for design implementation and support of DevOps pipeline capable of supporting high performing software solutions.
An ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and adopting emerging technologies keeping abreast with industry trends and evolutions and using this knowledge to deliver and support DevOps solutions that enable developers to deliver new feature and functionality on regular cadence without interruption.
Good team skills are essential for this role as there is a great deal of day-to-day collaboration that takes place as we build and deliver solutions.
Responsibilities :
Work in collaboration with development and IT Operations team to
-Design and implement Cl/CD pipelines
-Build and maintain observability and alerting across application and infrastructure
-Automation of manual tasks using scripting
-Identify bottlenecks in the development process and implement solutions
-Work with developers to optimize applications for performance and scale
-Administer AWS/Azure resources and provide guidance on utilization
-Ensure we are releasing code safely securely and frequently
-Investigate and adopt new technologies/tools as needs arise
Qualifications :
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
-General knowledge and experience with container technologies such as docker
-Strong Linux skills
-Awareness and/or understanding of security principles
-Scripting/coding experience is a plus.
-Awareness/Experience with configuration management/infrastructure as code tooling. Terraform is preferred.
-Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions
-Experience working with cloud resources AWS and Azure.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
-Awareness/Up to date with latest industry patterns and tooling.
-Independence and self-motivation while still being able to work with others collaboratively
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial high-energy environment
